Subsea Cable Connecting UK to the USA..
M&M were part of the construction team who landed the subsea cable into Blackpool yesterday. This cable will form part of a multimillion-pound Subsea Cable Project that will form part of the North Atlantic Loop, which will provide a third of the world’s internet connection.
As part of these works, Business and civic leaders gathered behind the tram station at Starr Gate to watch the fibre optic cable land on Blackpool beach, where it will be connected to an existing underground network under the sand dunes towards the Enterprise Zone.
